The Beaux Jours Set

Hand-embroidered roses, butterflies, and a ribboned medallion across blush cotton sateen, edged with voluminous gathered ruffles. The medallion reads "beautiful days" — les beaux jours — the French expression for the lovely moments of a life lived slowly.

We made it for the woman who marks her beautiful days as they happen.

Les beaux jours

In French, "les beaux jours" — the beautiful days — is what you call the moments of a life worth keeping. Slow afternoons. Summer light through the window. A Sunday with nothing planned but reading in bed.

The medallion at the center of the set is embroidered with these words because the bedroom is where the beautiful days begin and where they end. We made the most ornate piece of Vol. 01 for the woman who notices them.
